Tony has studied extensively in the Tap, Jazz, Modern, Ballet, African, Contemporary and Hip Hop genres. He has trained, choreographed and performed all over the world working with artists such as Charles “Honi” Coles, Steve Condos, Dianne Walker, Brenda Bufalino, Gregory Hines, Wade Robson, Donald McKayle, Derick K. Grant, Savion Glover, Terry Brock, Jimmy Slyde Luther Brown and Sam Weber to name a few. Tony has directed and choreographed stage shows for Disney and has been a featured dancer and choreographer for international industrial shows with Nike, Avia, Columbia Sportswear and Nordstrom’s as well being a featured performer and faculty member at the International Tap Festivals of Portland, Boulder, Chicago and St. Louis.
Tony began his teaching career at the age of 14 and has over 35 years of teaching experience under his belt. Over the past 20+ years he has been a featured instructor for the Groove Street Productions Dance Convention that he helped co-found in Los Angeles in 1998. He is currently residing and teaching in Portland, Oregon. His students (past and present) can be seen dancing and acting with the likes of Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Disney, Chonique Sneed, Fuller House, London’s West End, on Broadway, Justin Bieber among others. In 1991 Tony had the distinct honor of being selected by Charles “Honi” Coles as one of the 9 Jr. masters of Tap dance. His classes are known to be fun, challenging and full of Tap history. He brings a positive attitude, innovative choreography and high energy to everything he does.
