Miss Ashlie started dancing when she was 3 years old at Black Hills Dance Centre in Spearfish, SD. She is starting her 14th year with Forest Grove Dance Arts and has loved being apart of this dance family. Miss Ashlie has trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, and Irish. She was a teacher's assistant for 5 years and was a teacher in training for Hip Hop Jazz and Ballet for 2 years. Ashlie has danced many roles in the Ballet Forest Grove Nutcracker; she has been a Big Mouse, Puppet, Butterfly, Clara, Doll, Snow Princess, King Mouse, and Sugar Plum Fairy. She also enjoyed being on the FGDA Competition Team which she was on for 7 years. She has gone to many dance conventions such as NYCDA and JUMP taking classes from famous Dancers/Instructors such as Misha Gabriel, Wildabeast Adams, Mike Minery, Doug Caldwell, Nick Lazzarini, Kenny Wormald, Teddy Forance, Al Blackstone, Katy Spreadbury, Bobby Newberry, Mia Michaels, and Mandy Moore.

Ashlie plans to stay involved with dance while she goes to P.C.C in hopes of getting her Business Associates to open up her own studio or hair salon.

Ashlie found her love of dance through her dance instructors pushing her to be her best and teaching her to never give up. She hopes she helps her students develop the same love for dance and wishes to teach her students the same perseverance as well.
